One of the latest requests from Greece’s creditors is to increase the role of electricity produced by hydropower plants in the revised NOME auctions, in exchange for the overall reduction of the amount of electricity offered to independent suppliers.
Greek Government and its creditors have already agreed to revise electricity amounts offered at the NOME auctions once the bailout-required sale of coal-fired units of Public Power Corporation (PPC) is completed.
